I have only been a few times and ALWAYS get the veal . not today

Love the atmosphere, the decor, the people watching and oh yeah the food

Thai Chili

 Thai Chili DC - This spot was SO good..... it has cracked my top 5. The food, the staff & the atmosphere.

DJRR gives Thai Chili DC - A+

I am in the hunt for the BEST dumpling but this aint it.

It wasnt bad but dont mess with my shape of my dumplin' I loved the idea - minced crab, shrimp and pork.

Ka Prow with SHRIMP - this sauce was SO good, I was moving the shrimp and peppers out of the way to mix the rice with the sauce. I have ALREADY decided my next visit will include an extra scoop of rice and some sauce on the side. This was a 4 napkin mean, not from the mess but from the sweat of the spices.. they LAUGHED at me but it was a GREAT spicy sauce = A++

Red Lobster @ Silver Spring, MD

I realized today I had not stepped in a Red Lobster since 1996 - I had HIGH expectation of the way I USED to remember. The wait staff was GREAT especially while I was waiting for my friend, I got a free drank.

Unless I am out voted and friends insist - it could be another 10+ years before I return.

The plus' s despite being the victim of an April Fools day joke the biscuits were the star of the day.

being soak in melted butter makes everything good and they melted in your mouth BUT I can make these better.

The stuffed flounder looked GREAT on the website...live - not so much, The fish was SO-SO and the filet was not actually STUFFED but split in the middle with a dollop of crabmeaat in the middle  (yeah, I could have don that) - it was just OKAY. The mashed potatos were not the worst/not the best...actually forgetable.

A little disappointed in the garlic mushrooms because I love garlic and mushrooms

Clearly, the "joint was not jumpin" at 12:15ish in the heart of U street...but the joint was huge

My first non Starbuck coffee shop experience. We went on a Friday, late morning and the number of students and unemployed was obvious- it was PACKED. The service was good, the joint was jumping and you get animal cookies with your coffee.

Many of the locations have closed but you can still visit the Silver Spring, Md and Penn Qter DC spots.

I have a long history with the AG and have seen the menu change...ALOT for the worst. Through the years my favorite entree has remained the same - shrimp fajitas = A+

Nothing like a "bowl of cheese" to make me happy (or maybe it's the beer they add to it) Austin has the best nacho chips this side of mexico.
